Empowering our youth within our community
Webb County LULAC Council #22387 in collaboration with the South Texas Latino Coalition, a 501 (c) 3 state and federal nonprofit organization will be hosting the 2024 Orgullo Latino Legacy Award. The O.L.L.A. is an annual fundraising program and dinner that enables our local council to provide scholarships to high school students within the Laredo/Webb County area.
The Orgullo Latino Legacy Award celebrates and recognizes individuals or organizations for their contributions, achievements, and support to the Latino community. The award honors those individuals or organizations whose work and commitment have impacted the children and families' lives. In the spirit of partnership, they have supported our mission and advanced efforts to serve Latino families in need. This award also honors those that best exemplify the community's pride and the spirit of giving through their endless commitment to afford a positive impact on Latino families' quality of life locally, statewide, or nationally. Furthermore, this legacy award honors and recognizes a lifetime commitment to improving the lives of Latino children and families in Laredo / Webb County, Texas.
